That's why NO ONE complains about the minimum wage being too high, they complain that the minimum wage is "too close to their wage."

Definitely seen that a lot, it's weird.

I've completely missed this on Facebook somehow.

Oh it is huge. I've seen it from a lot of different people... mostly those that earn only a little more than $15/hr and/or military. I've also seen military people mocking those people for not understanding how pay works in the private world.

I've seen the low wage workers arguing this. I have also seen high wage and business owners making the same argument. Everyone I know in the military, except for that one RWNJ who joined just to shoot people, is for a wage increase.

As of CentOS 7, DNF isn't even an option. Yum is the only thing to use.

Correct. But it has been in fedora for a while now.

Is dnf the default in Fedora now?

      Yes

So I attempted the install last night. There aren't any rpm packages, so I downloaded the source from GitHub and ran their like 4 installers. The web interface came up with the logo but nothing else in it. I tried getting the agent installed on the server, but that failed. I changed the giant amount of data in the configs they wanted changed, and ran everything from their Readme, but still got errors when I tried to start the agent. I just gave up. I'll stick with Virt-Manager and virsh.

Setting it up definitely is not easy to do, that's the most major problem for now I think. I hope once they reach whatever goals they're trying to shoot for, they focus on making it easy to setup.

Ya if I actually needed it or cared, I would have stuck it through. It's on my server at home, so I just didn't feel like putting in the effort. Maybe that's lazy lol.

Making heads and tails of text files...

By default, the head and tail commands each give an output of ten lines. That's not bad, and for many things it is all that we need. But there are times that it would be nice to get more or less from these commands.

To get head to give us a different number of lines, just add the number of lines that you wish to be returned following a hyphen, as it if were a normal flag. Here is an example to return the top five lines of a file.

      # head -5 /var/log/messages

Strangely, and I have no explanation for this, tail works similarly but not exactly the same. The tail command needs a "-n" flag followed by the number of lines that we wish to extract. So if we wanted to see the final eighteen lines of a text file we would do it like so:

      # tail -n 18 /var/log/messages

Even suggesting (though not “our best option” dumping all your brand new equipment and moving to a single host?? Please focus on removing your introspective nears and pathetic sarcasm to a minimum. You couldn’t smell the manure stink more had you forcefully shoved your head inside an elephants rear end…. Emotional reactions such as this guys whole post... nothing but emotion, zero rationale.

It sounds like someone wasted a million dollars of company money and is trying discredit reality.

It's called "reverse rationalization" in psychology context. Humans want to believe that we are rational, logical creatures. But most of our decisions are emotionally based and made faster than we can rationalize them. Then, when our decisions are questioned, we go back and our brains try to remember there being logic that we used to make the decision. If there is logic, we recall that logic. When there isn't logic, our brain freaks out and either constructs false logic to make it seem rational, but that often makes it seem even more crazy to outsiders looking at us spouting gibberish. And if our own brains realize the gibberish or this is pointed out, it can actually trigger the fight or flight response when all logic shuts down and we just panic.

I don't think bonding is really going to help you. The problem is that if the connection is established over one of the links it stays on that link and doesn't "split" between the two you have a call on one connection and some extra bandwidth the call will likely establish on the next connection and you will just end up with extra unused bandwidth as the bonding doesn't really bond them into a single line. It can work fine where you have a bunch of small sporadic web page loading but, I don't think it will help in your situation.

Is this is single location IP Phone system or do you have a VPN in multiple locations? First I'd look for a better WAN connection, either Fiber, Cable or a WISP etc. If you can't do that you might go with a PRI, or single analog lines or even a cellular interface for the pbx.
