Java has turned into a great server side product but a pretty pathetic client side one.

That Android uses Java as its programming platform is pretty surprising.

My feeling is that Windows 10 (which does not make me happy as a name) will likely be a make it or break it moment for Windows. Mac OSX and Linux are taking Windows to task big time but people are mostly playing a waiting game to see what Microsoft will do with their upcoming release. They are giving them a chance to course correct now that Ballmer is out on his ear. Can Microsoft turn things around with someone new at the helm? Or will they continue to steer into the iceberg?

Windows 10 appears to be well situated to have a good recovery trajectory for Microsoft. But we will just have to wait and see. If they botch this like they did with Windows 8, they are going to lose market share very quickly. I think that they have to make this work.

Most of the Linux distros have switched up MySQL or MariaDB. That is where Oracle is really losing ground. People think that they are using MySQL but under the hood it is MariaDB. Slowly the MySQL marketshare is eroding.

I'm recruiting at the moment and I don't think we've had a single application without at least one spelling mistake, typo or grammatical error. I'm having to review my policy of automatically binning any applications with errors.

My kids thought that that was very funny.

Eh? Commercial piloting I assume you are referring to? Personal aircraft are still mostly pilot controlled.

To continue my thought from earlier though, when I say computer driven, I mean, you get in, type an address, sit back and relax until you arrive. Allowing people to willy nilly drive/fly these things all over town, I just can't see that working for the masses.

Think of something like 5th Element - flying car lanes, yet somehow you're able to leave the lane and simply fly/drive anywhere you want - udder chaos.

Great. I am looking forward to some serious feedback on it. It is a really exciting project.

as a guy who has issues with hormone levels (and I'm only 23) I can say it affect just about everything. Engery levels, dizziness, brain fog, attitude, blood sugar, weight gain, blood pressure, heart rate and palpitations. Luckily for guys it's not to bad with replacement therapy but it's dang expensive about $1,700 for a 3 month supply. They do think a lot of this stuff is caused by all the food being genetically modified though, which makes you think.
