Ah ha, this is a bit silly. But you need to go into Programs and Features and fine the Citrix VDA client. Select "Change" and then fill in your controller information there. Not intuitive at all.

Seems to be working. At least this step. The applications have populated.

That's the big thing with XenApp, application performance. And integration with XenDesktop for VDI.

Are you the reviewer of this data like NTG can be, instead of Dell direct?

If that's really the case and it removes Dell's sales people from the equation, hot damn that's awesome!

      In theory. Yes

In practice? We'll see if Dell maintains that.

You mean they didn't crawl through the vents and hang from the ceiling over a pressure sensitive floor?

You forgot the egregious body shots of a woman crawling though "laser" lights.

Bright lasers, so that you can clearly see them and her, of course.

Here is a more import question about that stat, it's what I call the "Influenza Stat Problem."

Sure, 60% of hacked SMBs will be out of business in six months. But how many would have been out of business anyway? Meaning there are two factors not considered in the statement:

Are companies about to go out of business more likely to be hacked in the first place? Are all SMBs roughly about 60% likely to go out of business in six months?

With influenza when we had a huge epidemic in the US a few years ago they stated the rate of flu deaths and people started to panic. The number was crazy. But only to the clueless.

What they didn't point out, and should never have needed to, was what the death rate was in the general population. It was as if people just forgot that people die naturally too.

If you looked, influenza did not increase your average chance of death... it lowered it. Presumably because people with the flu stopped doing dangerous things, stayed in bed, were constantly monitored, etc. People are most likely to die from things like car accidents, but car accidents are much less likely when you are home sick!

@scottalanmiller I'll have to try it on my VM when I get a chance to restart my computer...Oracle Vbox is being annoying, machines won't start except for right after a reboot of the host OS. Haven't figured out where the issue is yet.

Only thing I wasn't able to figure out was how to automatically add the group to people's lists - I ended up writing up some tutorials on how to add groups and which one to add for one of our departments that needed to use S4B.

I love the concept of the one device and I have been waiting for this for several years. By the time that I start looking for a new phone (about two years away), then I should be able to afford it.

In middle and high school we had something like that. It was a hand coded console graphics and batch programs that would run what you chose. You're taking me back. It might have originally been made on a program like that, but the students quickly learned how to customize it.

I think they are just worried the government will over reach like they do in many other things.

This is why I did not want Title II applied. I worked for an ILEC for years and I know just how much of a f[moderated]ed up mess that it made of things when DSL was rolled out back in 2000.

I have never been against network neutrality principles, but Title II was not the best way to go about it.

By using Title II, I expect the ILECs to bring all their lawyers in, and those lawyers already know Title II inside and out. This is going to turn in to a complete cluster f[moderated].

If everything bad was also illegal, maybe it would be different. But many bad things only get changed through social pressure, since they are legal or legal-ish and benefit someone in a position to enact policy.
