    • RE: XenServer installation SR issue

what is the output of vgs, lvs, pvs from the console?
Seems like either your lvm layer is bad, or the actual raid array is bad.
Have you tried to unmount this and then runs fsck?

Really weird that the local sr wasn't auto created for after install. It is like the first thing that happens when you connect to XS with XC.
Since it is not working you could just reinstall and try again, there shouldn't be an thing on it at this point.

      Here is the guide.

Not a single price is listed.

Obviously this means i am free to upgrade at no cost. Thanks MS!

    • RE: Stopping spam with SCL of 0

I did put some text pattern matches on a transport rule
      "IT Professional"
      "IT Professionals' list"
      IT Staffing
      "Contracted Program*"
      "Telecom user*"
"Target Industry:" << this one is very common in the 'buy user lists/dbs for your company'
      "Dear Sir/Madam"
^^ that one actually is catching a email from a legit company that sends us invoices/PO, that phrase is actually auto-generated in every email. Annoying.

Phrases like this are common throughout most of these emails.

Seems to be working well so far.

Glad to see this moving forward. 20MB/sec imports and exports are lame.

    • RE: Windows 10 File Explorer Problems

Was this network location the default save location/Documents redirected? If so redirecting his Documents/default save location to local computer may fix the issue.

Is there a vpn setup so he can get access to the network resource, or a GPO you could apply to him after connecting the sets the offending option to "Not Configured"
      or
You can remove a pc from a domain using local admin credentials. This should allow him to modify policy objects that would be uneditable using your configured domain gpos.

    • Stopping spam with SCL of 0

Youve all seen these emails, or maybe you havent. If not please let me know!

      "%industry% professionals databank/user list".
Generally one or two of these get through per day here.
Annoying, but people just delete them when they get them.
Theyre tricky ones to stop get though because their SCL is 0 according to Exchange.
      How would you stop these?
I was thinking adding some regex filters on a incoming transport rule

    • RE: Why is Hyper-V More Confusing

I think the root of all the confusion with Hyper-V is that it is an MS Server product that doesnt cost money.
Everybody skips the EULA, so MS should just put a big vb message box with blinking bright lights that says "Hyper-V Server is free, if you put windows servers on it you must pay for those, but never for Hyper-V Server". Make people hit that button twice, then say an oath to Cortana, "I know that hyper-v server is free, if i put Windows vms on it i must pay for those" Only then would it install.

    • RE: Logical IT Certification Progression

My A+ book (bought early-mid 00's) was like 1200 pages long, had pinouts of all 240 pins on ddr and other 'stuff only hw design engineers need to know' in there. I tried memorizing all that, then took the test and was like 'wtf did i waste dozens of hours studying for'. Took like 20 minutes and i think i got nearly all questions right.

    • RE: Gaming rig for friend

I have the same watercooler, works great. Also have the same 850 Pro SSD, works even better.
I suppose you don't have to spend so much on the mobo, but I usually do because it is the foundation of your entire computer. The one you have chosen may be a bit overkill(though mine was more and is totally worth it), perhaps find one with only 2 pciex16 if he may want another card in the future. but

The one listed by thwr is a lot more than the spreadsheet says it is, at least in the US. And is MiniITX.
6700K are over 300 in the US, not less than 250 as well

    • RE: Gaming rig for friend

for 2000 bucks, you can get just about whatever you want.
If you want to spend the entire 2k,
      get a
      GTX1080 ~700
      the i7 6700 (although I still prefer the socket 2011 beasts, like the 4930k) ~350 I think
      16/32GB RAM, this is cheap. ~ 300
ASUS or Gigabyte mobo that is comparable in features/price with your cpu.(prob about 3-400 for something good) ~ 300-400
      A case and a psu about 100 each. ~ 200

Burrito Tinga (spicy smoky chicken) from the food truck next to the Rickshaw restaurant at the corner of 105th and Greenwood. Dude makes killer burritos.
