LOL, not looking forward to having to say the things in the latter half of that song!

I just republished in HD, and added Acts 1 & 2 of Ancient Mesopotamian Puppet Theatre.

RE: Luciana's Elephant
The intestines and the blood stream! The Magic School Bus is awesome

RE: Lego Fusion
I don't think it's meant to be a minecraft replacement, exactly. I also think, despite the age range listed, that this seems more for younger children, but it's hard to tell without trying it out. I definitely think we'll be getting a set for Liesl. We love all things Lego around here.

RE: FreshNation
All the produce looks so fresh and yummy. I can't wait to try everything! I chose the fruit and vegetable variety box and we got about a pound each of cucumbers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, radishes, a huge bunch of lettuce, kale, cauliflower, eggplant, bell peppers, green beans, onions, peaches, apples, and yellow plums.

RE: My sons first day of school
LOL, awesome! I feel a little sorry for the teacher, having to deal with a tooth removal on the 1st day!

RE: Anyone going to SpiceWorld?
Hopefully I will be there. We are trying to work out childcare. They really threw a wrench in the works by making it an entire month early.

RE: Well, I'm Hooked Again
@scottalanmiller Yes, I've been thinking about it. I just have so much to do at the moment, that I'm afraid to let myself get started up again! At the moment, I spend all day reading homeschool email lists, searching for groups for us to join, reading posts on HS facebook groups, etc. I want to make sure that we are well prepared for this first official reporting year of HS in NYS.

RE: Well, I'm Hooked Again
@ajstringham I used to feel like I was a wimp or something for always wanting to play on easy, and then @scottalanmiller explained why he does in a way that made so much sense. We aren't in it for slash and hack just for the sake of it, we play for the story, and you get the same story on easy.

RE: Japan's Amazing New Luxury Trains
That first car would make me so SICK! I cannot face sideways when traveling on a high speed train. I barely managed the high speed across Spain. The swaying! Ugh!

RE: Good Morning and Happy Weekend!
It sounds good, though @Joyfano, with fake bacon, of course
I had forgotten about that bizarre "American" pizza. What country was that? I remember being like "ewwwwwww". Now to be fair, one time Scott and I went to Wendy's and we were told that we could just order a "vegetarian sandwich" because Wendy's supposedly had a corporate policy about it. We were told it would be cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, and mayo on a bun. What we received was cheese and french fries on a bun. We never ordered that way again.

RE: Not Sure How I Feel About This
@scottalanmiller Okay, okay. I'll stop whining and just teach both.

RE: LOL of the day
Way back before Scott and I were married, the power went out in our HUGE house. I've never been a fan of the dark, so I always get a little panicky when the power fails at night. We only had one lighter, and Scott wouldn't let me have it, so I lit a piece of paper, and ran around our room and bathroom lighting candles, while the paper burned away and dropped ashes to the floor. From that point on, Scott decided that I'm not proactively safe with fire.

RE: I love 90's rock..
Oh my gosh, the fanny pack! This reinforces my belief that the fanny pack (or less offensively, belt bag) is the great equalizer. It doesn't matter how hot you are, wear a fanny pack and you're an instant Urkle (Steve, not Stephan)

RE: First Day with the Wii U
She's working up her courage to play it through the scary part. Maybe tonight?

@scottalanmiller said:
Canadians actually believe all Americans are illiterate. Thanks Noah.
This made me giggle. It also made me realize (realise) what a pain in the butt teaching spelling is going to be. "sigh* I'm aware of a lot of the common English vs. 'Merican spelling differences, but there are plenty that are under my spelldar. If we were planning to just live in the USA it would be one thing, but since we are planning to live all over the world, it matters.

RE: LOL of the day
So funny. If I was allowed to use fire, I might have tried this, but since I'm banned from using lighters and accelerants, our house is safe.

RE: Pissy Reporter on Amazon Fire Phone
@alexntg No one here has had anything to say about what he wrote, only how he wrote it. After reading that article, Infoworld has gone down a bit in reputation in my eyes.
