In any case - I have 1709 and have had since the day it was released and I have not had these problems. But I got 1709 through an upgrade, not a fresh install. The other three users having issues all recently got new machines, with 1709 as a fresh install.
These were installed from a VL ISO, not the factor crap images that came with the machines.

Might be worth unchecking that. The computer will use more power overall, but it may solve your issue.

Well - as JB said the other day in his troubleshooting thread - that's not a root cause, and with multiple machines all having the same issue - wired or wireless - I'd really like a root cause.

That makes sense. From your OP it sounded as though only two machines that were having issues, and I assumed wired.

FYI - I've set two of the machine (one laptop and one desktop) to not sleep for 3+ hours. We'll see if this makes any difference. The laptop user is not very mobile, so they rarely move the laptop (close the lid, etc).
