Have you checked powersaving/sleep settings on the NIC?

      The settings are the default.

I'll have to read and see if this is something new for 1709...

In any case - I have 1709 and have had since the day it was released and I have not had these problems. But I got 1709 through an upgrade, not a fresh install.

The other three users having issues all recently got new machines, with 1709 as a fresh install.
These were installed from a VL ISO, not the factor crap images that came with the machines.

Might be worth unchecking that. The computer will use more power overall, but it may solve your issue.

Well - as JB said the other day in his troubleshooting thread - that's not a root cause, and with multiple machines all having the same issue - wired or wireless - I'd really like a root cause.

As a side note, I this on the desktop having the issue, and today it definitely had the disconnected Outlook issue.

That makes sense. From your OP it sounded as though only two machines that were having issues, and I assumed wired.

As of the OP, I only posted about 2, now I've added a third.

These were installed from a VL ISO, not the factor crap images that came with the machines.

Why use VL? They are not different anymore in my experience.

I haven't tried OEM software with KMS licensing.

FYI - I've set two of the machine (one laptop and one desktop) to not sleep for 3+ hours. We'll see if this makes any difference. The laptop user is not very mobile, so they rarely move the laptop (close the lid, etc).
