Is the above posting the guide you speak of?

I just d/l it. I'm going to set it up in my lab and give a feed back.
As long as it work, who cares about the name. I'm sure we can think of some devices that has wack names, but over looked it due to the device meeting the needs of the consumer. It could be called PoopNet all I care. lol!
Nevertheless, I'm new to the devices you speak of @JaredBusch . Thank you for the education.
I'm really digging this new Network device. No need to pay thousands of dollars for a Fluke. There still may be some work in progress, but at lease it's a start. POCKETHERNET is a cool little mobile device that work with your smart phone. I figure I share this with my IT family. Merry Christmas!!
Let me know what you think. Enclosed, I posted the link to the site.
I'm looking for a career change still within the field of computers. DevOps was mentioned to me, however, I don't seem to get a clear answer as to what it really is. I understand what it do, but don't understand the qualification one needs to have to become a DevOps team member. I have a Network System Admin background. Will that do? Or do you need to know how to program? Any advice and or guidance is appreciated.
P.S. Hello to my Mangolassi family! Miss you all!
@DustinB3403
I'm not sure about Windows OS 10, but I'm dealing with an Enterprise network.
@BRRABill
Thank you for your concern. The cool thing about Bitlocker, the Pwd recovery key is listed in the AD under the Bitlocker tab.
Aight Fam (short for family), this is what I've discovered that seems to be working thus far.
Now mind you I just discovered that the Bitlocker can be on, but a server will give a notification stating otherwise due to the Bitlocker on the computer isn't properly communicating with the server.
To check to see if this is the case, Go into the property of the computer via AD. Under the Bitlocker tab, if you don't see any pwd key or any information pertaining to Bitlocker that's the issue. Try to reset, if not, clear.
If you have to go beyond this point, it's beyond me. Thus far all that I mentioned above has worked for me. G'luck!
Wow! 35 looks thus far and no feed back. Very unusual.
@scottalanmiller
Hey my Big brotha. Sorry for being away so long. I missed all of you guys. I'm not just saying that either.
Hello everyone! Long time no talk to. I'm in a pickle, sort of. My colleague installed a new HD in a Dell Latitude 6420 and now the bitlocker is not able to resume protection. To rectify the issue, I went into the bios, activated the TPM and restarted. When that didn't work, I went back into the bios, cleared TPM to start fresh, restart...no go. I'm at a stand still. May I call on the Brain Power that be to help this humble man.
In advance, thank you so much,
Chris.
@scottalanmiller
The proxy do seem cool, but, to my understanding, you can only set up one proxy at a time with in a browswer. Right? I have Pro Tools, Presonus (Studio One) and Fruity Loops.
Thank you for all of your replies. What I'm basically trying to do is allow my musical studio apps to be able to update while locking everything else out. I know that I can possibly go via firewall and disable all except those that I want to access the internet, but that's a lot of apps. lol! I just figure, among the brains that be here, I could find a better, efficient and possibly an easier route.
Hello everyone. Longtime no see. Judging from the title of this post...is it possible, is it simple and do it has anything to do with port forwarding? Can anyone help me with this delima?

Oh most everyone around here is "Special".
When we (NTG) do a job like this that is a one time thing. Our rates are based on a hourly prepaid block of hours. The larger the hour block they purchase the cheaper it gets. Our bottom rate is $150/hour. If they are looking of a long term contract than the bottom rate is more like $100/hour.
Hello M. Queen. As a company you may be able to justify $150/hr due to overhead cost. However, as an individual, I don't have to pay employees, vehicles...etc. I just quoted him $80/hr. He was fine with that. As I grow, pray for me, I may have to bump up the price.
Does that make sense? If there is something I'm missing, please do educate me.
Matt why are you too crazy!! lol!!

I ask because I do not know who you are. If you're currently working for a company who does what you intend to do, you could use that as a launch point. Jared's numbers look good to me! but who am i.
Thank you for clarifying that Hubtech. I see your point. Now to answer who you are, I consider anyone associated with this site as someone special and with great knowledge. That's why I come to you as if you're my tech family, likewise if I have the knowledge about something I share it. Once again Hubtech, my new special friend, thank you for your suggestion.

I never give anyone less than $120 for a one time job.
If a client signs a consulting agreement for more long term support I will cut the they rate based on the hours I expect to average from them. I still never go under $90.
Thank you Jared for your feed back. I agree with both of you gentlemen.

Who are you? what is your experience level? Where are you? I'd think more around 125-150/hr depending on your answer to those questions. if you're note sure of the environment you'll be migrating from....it could be a nightmare
Hello Hubtech. Without hearing your tone, your reply started off a bit condescending. However, to answer your question, I am who I say I am. My name is listed under my pic. I'm Mr. Wright. My level of experience is 8yrs deep and growing. I'm asking about prices because I'm starting off new with my own contracting company. I've always worked for someone else and never had to worry about coming up with pricing. With that said, I don't see how asking "who am I" is relevant. Now experience level and my location I understand. I don't care if I was Mighty Mouse. As long as I have the experience it shouldn't matter. This site, from what I understood, is to help aid others without making them feel more ignorant than what they are. If you find any of my questions insulting to your tech intelligence then, by all means, click away.
Now speaking to the part that actually answer my question, thank you.
@thecreativeone91
I agree, but how much would you charge per hour? I'm thinking $80.
