Scott are you looking to adopt a independent 25 year old male and take them on trips to France?... I've never been to Europe...
You can travel with us virtually by listening to our podcast!
Ummm... you could have supplied the link, ya know. Nothing wrong with a little extra shameless self-promotion...

What's for dinner?
I'm making Sweet and Spicy Crockpot "Chicken":
http://thenourishinghome.com/2012/09/sweet-n-spicy-crockpot-chicken-gf/
I've made this before and it's simple and delicious. I use fake chicken in place of a real carcass, so I probably don't need to cook it for 4 hours, but I think of it as marinating / cooking. I'm serving it with steamed broccoli and brown rice and quinoa medley: http://www.wikihow.com/Cook-Brown-Rice-in-a-Rice-Cooker
Anybody else having something yummy for dinner? I'm in love with my crockpot right now. Even though I'm home all day, it's still nice to not have to stand over the stove for every meal.

RE: How a morning shouldn't start... the night prior perhaps?
@RAM. Sounds like you're having one of those "when it rains it pours" days. On the upside, it's nice to have one of those every once in a while to reinforce to management why they need an IT guy.

He wants MJ....
What does it say that the first thing I thought of was he wanted MJ from Spiderman, and the distant second was the other kind of MJ? I'm pretty sure I'm a super nerd.

This made me giggle. I have the sense of humor of a 13 year old boy.

I've been thinking for a while how fun it would be to plan and lead small group trips around Europe. Ride the rails, stay in mom-n-pop places, hang out with the locals - all the stuff we like to do. I would have to have a clause in the contract stating that if someone turns out to be an annoying ass, I can leave them behind to finish the trip on their own.

Oh the joys of home ownership.
Part of the reason I can't buy toys
I have to save up for new flooring and possibly new Windows and a patio door this year. Last year was a kitchen remodel.
Start a garden, I'll even sell you a bag of doughnut seeds for $20, really rare and hard to come by.
I can never fully decide if stuff like that is cute and creates a sense of wonder, or just lying so you can laugh at your kids behind their backs.

RE: Community Has Been Cancelled
It's too bad. There's so little worth watching on TV nowadays.

RE: Maybe he was drunk? (serious question)
My first thought is that he thought he was calling someone else.

Helping the 3 year old find her baby play-doh snake.

RE: Mink makeup printer
I'm trying to see how this could ever be anything more than a novelty, first-run product. Then again, I buy makeup once a year, and not because I've used it up, but because you're supposed to replace it for health reasons, so this is clearly not marketed to me. I don't think I've spent $300 on makeup, total in my lifetime.

I'm a little confused, how is this thread not a nice conversation? I haven't seen any name calling, just lively debate......
On the contrary, Scott has repeatedly been called a narcissist. I would say that counts as name-calling. It's also, completely untrue, and an illustration of how little the name-caller actually knows Scott. Confident? Yes, and with plenty of justification for it, but not a narcissist. That's like calling a confident woman "bossy".
On another note, who knew that this topic was going to spark such heated debate? I feel a bit like I threw a match over my shoulder into a pool of gasoline.

RE: Cruising is finally coming into this century
That's an unrealistic view for someone who is running or is vital to a company, especially a small one. One important person being unreachable for any length of time could be catastrophic.

Cruising is finally coming into this century

We've never been on a cruise because Scott can't handle being disconnected like that. I like this quote βThis is a huge change that makes us even more compelling in the resort vacation market. When one of our guys got to meet Michael Dell, for instance, he said he'd never been on a cruise -- he just couldn't be that far away from the office for that long. With our new technology, this isn't an issue any more.β I'm hoping maybe we can actually take a family cruise sometime in the near future, at least on Royal Caribbean.

RE: NSFW: Hilarious Marketing
Ah, so it's supposed to be an electrolyte replacement drink for pets. Interesting.

How anonymous can you be if you have a logo?
+1! I'm pretty sure if you're sporting the logo that you can't be doing anything particularly useful or interesting in the name of Anonymous.
