The girls insisted on making chocolate chip muffins and cookies today. We are now officially out of chocolate chips.

RE: SNAKE MASSAGE
Actually, I think the weight of the snakes on my chest would make me really claustrophobic, so I'm not sure I could do it. I could handle the snakes themselves, but snakes that size are so heavy, I think I'd feel like I was suffocating.

RE: SNAKE MASSAGE
I would try it. It's not like they're going to let the snakes choke you.

Where is everyone going in FL? I can let you know some of the good the less known beaches
Sanibel Island
I would check out Venice beach (which is just north of Sanibel). It is one of the few places you can find shark teeth by combing the beach. They tell you that the shark teeth that are washed up are ancient, but I can tell you that I have never seen more sharks there than I have anywhere else. I remember being a teenager and fishing on the beach one morning with my dad. We would always go out just before sunrise. We started catching sharks left and right as soon as we got there. As the sun started to rise, We saw sharks everywhere. They were so hungry that they were swimming on the beach and flopping back in when the wave came back. I have never seen anything like it before or ever again in my life.
Sharky's is a cool place to bring the family the food there is pretty good (Captain Eddie's is better). Its on a long pier so you get a nice view of the water and the beaches. I recommend Captain Eddie's if you really like seafood. I love that place.
http://sharkysonthepier.com/It would be cool to check out a place with shark's teeth, but since we are staying at a house on the ocean in Sanibel, there's no way we'll drive 1.5 hours to another beach. My family turns into bums as soon as they smell salt water.

RE: Kitchen Conversions
Handy. When I first read the title, I thought it said "Kitchen Conversations". This makes more sense.

RE: Cat Farts for Sale
I've always thought Amazon put more than air in those.

RE: this makes me shake my head
loling that someone took the time to take a pic and create an ad for this.

RE: Really Cool Bunk Beds
Actually, some of those are cool enough to be tempting.

RE: Chattanooga's super-fast publicly owned Internet
Awesome, I hope the model works for them, and other cities try it too.

RE: Linphone Ghost Calls
I hope you figure this out soon. It's incredibly annoying to have that phone ring every 30 minutes.

RE: Getting to Know Rochester
@scottalanmiller You forgot the part where just after we managed to make it outside, another guy jumped up on the counter waving a gun and said "everybody down." We hauled ass out of there.

RE: Kill Cancer With......Measles?
I'm curious to see the result of further trials, since this one was only 2 people, and one of them didn't go into remission. It is exciting though, as a new form of treatment, especially in a "last resort" case like this woman.

RE: Recent Posts on Main Page
I only ever click on the topic headings, anyway. I agree, it's busy. Since we're evolving as a new community, I don't see a problem with testing new look and feel.

RE: Varidesk...this is a must have!
Pretty pricey for something you have to put on top of another desk.

RE: What's for dinner?
@IRJ I never wanted to eat anything when I was pregnant, but my sister had her "magic food of the day". She would rub her belly, and say "what do we want to eat today?" and when it would come to her, we'd have to find the food, sometimes driving pretty far, lol.
