The marketing intern position sounds like it would be a great fit, especially if the expectation is that you would be learning on the job rather than moving into that position with years of experience. My marketing experience is related to product knowledge, branding, training, writing copy, and engaging the customer. I am just beginning to learn Web design, logos, etc. I have a strong background in publishing and experience in marketing from the various contract positions I've held.

Told a friend about this. He's a year or so younger than me and has a four-year degree but is pretty much brand new to IT. We will see if he posts.
