If all countries said this, where would the people go?

You're more likely to end up with a situation like Starship Troopers - service is citizenship.... i.e. don't get certain rights unless you pass a test or go into the military, etc.

Just occurred to me that I should probably start Christmas shopping soon.

Yes, youre right. It would probably just be better to kill every one here that couldnt pass the test. Remove their genes from the future of humanity. I am also for this.

Wow you can feel the Freedom oozing from every orifice in America these days. So much so that people who have been married for years to Americans still need to spend lots of money and do loads of paperwork to become citizens. Then they need to pass a test that 3/4 of American born Americans cant pass.
I helped my friends wife quiz for her test a couple years ago.

To be fair to the system, I'd like the 75% that can't pass the test kicked out, too 😉

Lol then I'd have been kicked out before I helped my wife with studying her flash cards.

She said the test was easy, but the hundred or so flash cards to memorize would have been harder had she not had recently taken college courses that covered a lot of it.

Ethnic cleansing? Kind of boring at this point in human history no?

@wirestyle22 Ethnicity has nothing to do with it. Stupidity cleansing would be more apt.

No, I am married to an American which in itself doesn't give you citizenship or green card. I came here with k-1 visa which means a lot of paperwork and you only can get married here in the US. If you get married in another country that is more difficult to go through.

We had our wedding in Japan, but did not do any legal paperwork for it because my wife had a K-1 visa.

We went to the courthouse in my home county for a legal wedding once we got back in the U.S. after the wedding.

This does mean I deal with my Wedding anniversary twice each year.

If you forget the first one you'll still have one more chance.

Using CloudReady to make two old Lenovo Yoga's into chromebooks for my kids for school. Pretty easy set up.

I find it curious that I receive calls from recruiters claiming to have read my resume yet wanting me to interview for sales positions.
