The new certification roadmap from VMWare has been released for vSphere 6 - https://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrReg/plan.cfm?plan=62401&ui=www_cert.

If you were pursuing a VCP, which track would you take? I think for many, the datacenter virtualization track may be the go to track to get that VCP under your belt. You could then go into the cloud, desktop, or network tracks.

Would it be fair to say that the cloud, desktop, and network tracks will be the least saturated?

And I wonder if there will eventually be a storage track?

My guess would be that a lot of people will go for the cloud track just to get the name associated with themselves.

DC seems like it would be the most generally useful, I agree. Will employers agree?

That's awesome that there is more variety and ability to focus more. I agree, DC would be the best in general, Cloud probably the second most general. Network and Desktop seem far more focused and likely to be used in less general career options.
