Gaming - What's everyone playing / hosting / looking to play

I got Crying Suns from Epic the other day. It's not terribad. Kinda fun, actually.
-
I just started playing OMORI and I have to say I'm impressed
-
My kids got and completed the VR game "Down the Rabbit Hole" yesterday.

Been playing Genshin Impact on the PS4 for the last week, while my oldest plays on her laptop and the youngest on her cell phone.
I had downloaded it on my phone and went through the basic tutorial last fall. Not a bad Chinese JRPG. I was not interested in playing on my phone so I forgot about it.
But then Haine wanted to play it. So I fired it up on the PS4. I cannot play it on a phone. My manual dexterity cannot do that...
At least to Adventure level 25 the pay to win does not seem to get in the way. We shall see how it continues to progress without paying.

Saw that the Witcher series was on sale on GOG over the weekend. Since I've never played the games, but keep reading rave reviews about them, I picked up the enhanced / GOTY edition of the 3 main games. I'm just getting into the first game, but so far, I like it.
-
spent some time last night on this (I'm terrible, but its addictive)
-
I recently picked up Valheim in early access. Built my own dedicated server for myself and some friends. Having a blast.
-
I've been playing Path of Exile recently.

How is that? I've downloaded it, but never actually played it yet.

It's like what D3 should've been if Blizzard's dev's gave a flying f.
I'm enjoying it.

POE is a love letter to anyone who was a huge fan of Diablo 2. It's really the best incarnation of that kind of game I've ever seen, made by people who truly love the genre

Interesting. But looking at the videos, how does it differ than D3 now that makes it better?

Everything about the game is enjoyable, where as D3 killed their platform with the real money market/ poor game design mechanics and a whiney lead developer (no joke) who simply didn't want to make a game that people would enjoy.

So, my question still remains about the game. It looks the same.

The appearance isn't the differing factor, it's the game mechanics and play style that I like with PoE over D3

I am not a big RPG type gamer. Although I do like No Man's Sky for PS4, all CODs and am still playing Stardew Valley.

Boardgames as we have no power.

How bad is the weather by you. It has been bitter cold the last few days and now snowing again which makes people in WI think they're invincible.

POE isn't going to look that much different because the idea is the same. It's an ARPG/HacknSlash. It may looks similar, like how cars can look very similar but the performance is drastically different. POE is the winner in 99% of it as the people who created it were hardcore diablo 2 players and basically built the game they wanted to play. The skill tree and economy both are standouts for POE. It's a lot to talk about though because there is just so much to compare.

Hope it helps

Yes, thank you. An actual intelligent response.
