These kinds of beatings generally leave people a gallon or so short on blood, and maybe a few pounds less in flesh.

The only thing that smelled worse when I was a teenager working stock at a grocery store and a glass bottle broke was Milwaukee's Best. Who'd want beer anyway, the stuff smells absolutely terrible.
