It's open mic night at the DFW SpiceCorps! Since this is an unsponsored meeting, we're going to change the format a little. We may have one brief presentation at the beginning, but this will be an open forum for discussion as a group. There's no topic in the realm of IT that will be off limits. Have you recently completed a cool project? Tell the group about it. Do you need help with something or want to figure out the best way to brush up in a particular area? What's a hot topic in your world right now? Bring the burning questions that keep you up at night so we can discuss as a group and help each other. Hopefully this will be a beneficial exercise for everyone.
Additionally, if you have something you would like to present to the group and need a projector, please come early so we can get you connected.
We're back at the Dallas Makerspace thanks to Paul Mai (paulmofyourhand). We will be meeting in the main lecture hall. Feel free to bring your own food and beverage.

That's the only reason I go. I just have a few thousand more meetings to attend to make it to pure capsaicin.

That's how I got to PC originally... I attended so many meetings!

Can't even get in the door. Place is packed for an event. Have to sign a waiver to find out what's going on?

I asked if Spicecorps was there. No one had heard of it.

@Marc92 just told me that they got in and are having the meeting, but it is behind the "you can't go in" barrier. So there wasn't a way to get to it. I guess if you were there a little earlier there was a way in or something. It was only at 6:30 and I was there about 6:55 and there was already no way to get into the Maker Space if you weren't on a tour with a very long wait. And they were waiting for new computers to be brought out to get digital waivers signed. So they were closed indefinitely while having a technical glitch, but that might have only taken a second. But I asked, they said no Spicecorps. So no reason for me to think that waiting an hour to get in deeper to the facility would gain me anything.
Didn't hear from Marc till I was already home.
