 I am now doing the same thing with the DVD ISO. CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1511.iso
-
 @JaredBusch That's crazy

 @anonymous said: @JaredBusch That's crazy Well once this 2nd install is done, we will know if it was a change from release 1406 to 1511 (eww same release # as Windows 10), or if it was a difference between using the Minimal ISO or DVD ISO as a base.
-
 Wouldn't you think the minimal install would be the same on both isos?
-
 @anonymous said: Wouldn't you think the minimal install would be the same on both isos? Yes. So I am honestly hoping that this Minimal install from DVD ISO also does not have it.
-
 @JaredBusch Do you know of anyway to compare the two installs to see what packages are different? It would be interesting to know.

So it could be something they changed in the process between 1406 and 1511.

 @JaredBusch I see. But why would you decrease security out of the box? That seems strange to do....

 @anonymous said: @JaredBusch I see. But why would you decrease security out of the box? That seems strange to do.... The firewall is still there (iptables) they just removed the management interface for some reason.
