      @scottalanmiller Yes I meant Reseller / VAR

Then definitely DCW. I told them to watch this thread.

Was that supposed to be CDW?

No, what crazy person would recommend them?

WOW @scottalanmiller thats a lot to take in, will take someone a week to read and digest all that lol
      But all good.

πŸ™‚ If it helps it to make more sense.... remember that business is all about offering something special. If you just do what everyone else does, business can't work. You have to go above and beyond to succeed. So since IT is just business, the same applies. our job is to be significantly better than if someone wasn't doing something special. Therefore if everyone is doing something, it can't be that.

Thanks for the reply and sorry the late reply i did not get a notification on the email,
seemed that the issue was that it has to be done by \nameof server and not IP

I think it has to do with the trust factor. with a name, your endpoint is able to verify the fileserver, as an IP it can't.

However if you go through a group of folders that are narrowed down, it is hard to do.

Mostly, I want to exclude some folders (full of system emails) and deleted. All of which are returned if you use all folders.

The work around, is to click the folder, then click in search and use the recent to pop what you want.

Not as convenient as Outlook's search folder functionality.

But no Windows and no Outlook is a bonus.

This exact thing happens to me, I've tried using APC, Tripp-lite, and CyberPower. The laser printer (not directly attached to UPS) but on same circuit warms up the fuser thus causing a brown-out condition on the circuit, then causing the UPS to activate to hold up the PC and other devices.. thus cycling its sealed lead acid 6v battery within a few seconds, causing them to go below 50%. This may work a few times but if it drops below 50% charge it damages the 6v battery.. thus will need to be replaced continually unless you move the laser printer or have the circuit conditioned to handle the greater load.

@jokoco said in Gmail on Outlook sending multiple emails with attachment:

What I don't understand is why it sends multiple copies.

Because you are going over the maximum allowed attachment size. It's simply not supported.

What you should be asking is why gmail sends it at all. Obviously a bug i their system.

That being said - 25 MB attachment is not a lot. Some places mentions that the limit is actually 25MB total size with attachments being base64 encoded, which means that you will hit the limit somewhere around a 18 MB attachment.

If you send a lot of email attachments maybe it's time to look for another email provider.

Of course I do. But I have been meaning to get this setup permanently on a device for demo purposes anyway.

Yeah, this sounds like a case of the bean-counters having unreasonable expectations.

That's even worse if it isn't management but accountants who don't understand math. That implies that they can't do accounting, either.

Actually searching for the one @VoIP_n00b mentioned and the one above, I found a list. Haven't checked all of them yet, but it's a start.
