@Dashrender the pbx part is now a use case of the platform. We are working hard to add documentation, exemple etc ... on the website. Looks like an encoding problem. Your VM is not UTF8 and the database need to be UTF8.

psycopg2.DataError: new encoding (UTF8) is incompatible with the encoding of the template database (SQL_ASCII)
HINT: Use the same encoding as in the template database, or use template0 as template.

@scottalanmiller ok i don't know vultr but looks like it works with the nerdvittles tutorial.

But instead of using incrediblepbx script you can use directly the wazo script.

@scottalanmiller have you tried without the graphical installer from debian?

@scottalanmiller ok, what are you using? kvm, virtualbox ...? Everything can be automatic, so if you have an error it's because our installer don't like something. Have you tried with a debian 8 iso? It's possible to install wazo directly from a debian fresh install.
