President Joe Biden is set to sign 10 executive orders to boost the fight against Covid which has ravaged the US.
Vaccination will be accelerated and testing increased. Emergency legislation will be used to increase production of essentials like masks. In a break with former President Donald Trump, the policy stresses a national strategy rather than relying on states to decide what is best. The moves comes a day after Mr Biden was sworn in as the 46th president. The Trump administration was widely accused of failing to get to grips with the pandemic. In terms of total deaths from coronavirus, the US is the worst-hit country with more than 406,000 lives lost according to Johns Hopkins University. Nearly 24.5 million have been infected.

Biden did some good work so far. Made his buddies Buffett and Gates richer while taking away some good paying middle-class jobs. Excellent start I say... Can't wait for what's to come...

Exactly, (as you and most people here know but not the general pubic it seems) is IMHO synonymous with the word indictment. Just charges and nothing else. Although some think impeachment/indictment = guilty.

In what way did I bypass them? I did nothing of the sort. What are you on about? I simply said that if they did that, it would never excuse Trump or anyone else of being racist because of it.

I can't bold that statement enough. "that is neither here nor there" is a pass off statement. I am quite alright if you want to put all parties in that statement, but to lambaste one side and not the other is wrong, wrong, wrong.

It is not a pass, not sure how you could possibly interpret it as that. So lost as to what you think that means. You used them being racist as a softening on Trump's racism. I said nothing about them being or not being racist, only that one person's racism never excuses someone else's. But you took exception to that?

I used the racist comment to not soften anything at all. I called it out because if you want to talk about hate speech (is a form of racism, especially within the context of this tweet), then one has to look at both sides.

I for one do not think Trump is a racist at all. I don't think he used hate speech in this tweet either. Just because one doesn't like hearing something doesn't mean it is hate speech.

If you want it to be hate speech, go ahead, I am fine but will agree to disagree. That is why it is GREAT to be an American! We both would be shot elsewhere.

"go back where you came from" said to Americans is hate speech. There is no grey area there. It is a standard, well know hate speech phrase used to tell minorities that America is for whites only. It is one of the key examples of standard hate speech.
