Nic, I would be open to testing this out too, Symantec Endpoint.Cloud subscription is ending in a few months and while I'm not disappointed with it, I'm open to other alternatives.

Is that basically a cloud version of SEP?

The current release is called Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 2013 which is a mouthful. But you can do it cloud style or on-premise. If you like, I can get you connected with some (non-sales) folks from the SEP org.

Let me know how i can help.

      Here's a decent comparison chart: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_disk_encryption_software

Depending on which A/V solution you are using, you might want to go with that. Our philosophy here is to not put all our eggs in the same basket, so we use McAfee for encryption and Symantec for A/V. YMMV.

Always a good move. Of course all us vendors want everyone using every product but come on...we know that diversity in applications keeps you safe.

If you need anything w/r/t your SEP, hit me up.

Has Symantec even moved to offering a cloud solution or is SEP still all local only? I known Verizon uses SEP and Cisco systems for phone. I guess they just like wasting money...

We've actually been in the cloud for a couple of years. More info is here While we did recently EOL BackupExec.cloud, SEP & Enterprise Vault are still very strong in the cloud. Happy to get you connected with folks from that side if you have questions.

      Awwww MAN!!!

Video didn't work. It was supposed to be a track from legendary trip-hop band Digible Planets called "It's Good to Be Here" But all you get is a big black box.

      Well...IT'S GOOD TO BE HERE
