The source article does not specify the efficiency value of the unit. It also clarifies that this unit is not for sale, thus insinuating that it is strictly for demo purposes. It does say that they have industrial size units.

Edit: I missed the part of the article talking numbers. It is (was in 2010) for sale for $12k and they claimed a cost of 1KWH of electricity to run one batch.

The source does confirm that it uses Pyrolysis which is not new.

I have the Backbeat Pro - don't like it. Battery life is retarded and none of the rubber ear cups fit, which means they fall out of my ears all the time.

@JaredBusch - as for dealing with listening to music in only one ear; It's a trade off. I get to listen to music or talk on the phone, and ignore,.. err I mean still hear the person across the room.

Good news since the performance of it in a VM was so-so before. Kinda surprised they are charging for it. I don't see a EULA or anything for it is the Pricing per install or just a one time fee to download then you can use as much as you want?

I have to change my mtu to 1350 I think on 3G. I've seen TCP Window scaling cause similar issues as well (and along with) MTU issues, But I would hope never devices would have issues with it as they both seem to be new enough.

Next one is June.
