Is it just me, possibly not understanding fully, but why would anyone CHOOSE higher blood pressure over higher profit margins?!

Exactly, at first I thought it was trying to say "would you like more money but higher blood pressure too?" and I thought "hell, that's my life now."

@Breffni-Potter I understand. You want to hear the praise of Continuum OFF of our website. We'd love to hear that as well. I'll share these sentiments with Mary who sits 3 feet away from me 🙂

I realize that it didn't change, but allows the reader less chance to read something that's not there, as so frequently happens.

But it adds information that implies something inaccurate. My statement was more clear, it was simply an explanation of the action. Yours adds a conditional that is confusing in its lack of necessity and/or implies that it would only mean it in this case, which is incorrect.

Your way implies that this is a problem with this vendor rather than with this general process.

I was not making assumptions about the vendor in the thread but making a statement about the process. That's the difference.

My most recent username: JediMasterOdd nets results (mostly from Twitter), and some of my other usernames that I have used are far too common to find me easily.

nadnerB yields a few results in a Google Image search (scrolling required). Just SW and ML though

There are a few people using my IRL name but no actual images of me show up in a Google Image search. A few avatars of mine do though.

Something that every user needs to know: "When everything is high priority, nothing is high priority."

I just had a user do this same thing, something that literally cannot be completed until tomorrow, was High Priorority (1-2 hours) today...

I skyped and ask if someone was crying wolf...

Besides which, For these examples, would a true MSP not setup automation and systems to make this peanuts easy to do?

Not all have the right to do so. MSPs are not cookie cutter. Some don't handle things like accounts but only certain applications, for example. So they would have no tooling and this would be outside of scope.

It didn't happen to me but at the high school I worked at they had an on-site exchange server (we moved it off site when I was there) that was circa 2000 (I think). Two people had Out of Office replies and at the time there wasn't a setting to only send that once per user. So there was a sent message to everyone in the school, ~100 accounts, and these two accounts were replying Out of Office to each other over and over again... things got really sluggish and then after two hours stopped working altogether from what one of the techs told me.

FYI "Pr1^c3S$" would take a whopping 3 days to crack....

More than enough time to come up with a new password... like ':PR!n<3$$'

If you actually leave the single quotes, sure, secure password to brute force.... otherwise 50 days

What is irritating about single quotes is the number of commercial systems that strip them off without notification.

Looking in the details, this isn't much of a security issue (outside of untrusted networks). It requires DNS/ARP poisoning first. If you can do that you can break down a lot of mechanisms.
