You should be able to buy as little as 1 or as many as you desire, you may not like the price of 1, but that's a whole diff topic.

Ok, got it fixed.
I was treating the allocation like I would in Hyper-V, KVM is slightly different.

Setting the Current & Max allocation to the same amounts, 8 or 16, fixed things up.

SDS is a dining concept at best. With all major hypervisors having some built-in preferred virtual SAN tech spending money and time on anything third-party is... Waste of time at best. You have to have a reason. What's your reason?

What's the trick to creating a new guest from an existing .qcow2 image?
This is a Fedora26 image (firmware/chipset: EFI/Q35)

Using virt-manager, creating new vm & selecting existing image does not work.

You need to always add 2 hosts every time you scale up/out?
