      Interesting approach, what I used to do is robocopy and scan for specific file extensions (usually MS office)and copy them to NC folder, cause this way stuff like Outlook files will be tricky for NC, and I used third party copy solution that uses VSS to copy locked filed into NC folder. but that was like 3 years ago and now I'm much more dumber

      Hmm, what your looking for is integrating NC with Solr or something around those lines

      @PhlipElder

      to be frank I think you scale effectively and better using containers.

      Also me: but where do containers run on --> VMs

      Also I agree with @IRJ, it is not really biggie when you can use another close by region

      I've been using the following plugin instead of setting up separate profiles --

      Yeah, this argument reminds me of VMs vs containers, cause your separating within the app, and I'm kinda doing outside of the app. Besides this feature is recently introduced. and I used FF since 3.5 if you believe that.

      And "firefox -p" is your friend

      What does that do? I couldn't find it on firefox website.

      In linux is opens the profile manager, basically i have multiple profiles.

      Work profile for company A
      Work profile for company B
      Watching/streaming profile
      personal profile

      and you can make launcher for them like below in linux
      firefox -p personal --no-remote

      it look complicated, but once you start you cant stop. very benefecial to really seperate them yet at the same time they all share firefox program versions but not of the addons or prefernces

      @Emad-R That took care of it.

      Yeah i love FF, it just needs alittle here and there every now and then. At least it gives us some control of the browser, I wish the sync was better.

      Want another good tip, block new notifications request here (about:preferences#privacy) in notifications settings, so nothing pops and annoys you.

      And "firefox -p" is your friend

      @Jimmy9008

      if you ask me sometimes nothing is fair, but it is your current of view in life, for example some people would be happier working relative easy job and doesnt pay alot and having good friends in that job better than high paying one, but they doesnt know that untill they its too late

      why waste all resources on single OS ? what if a program runs better on specific OS what will you do then ? Also if virus infects single OS your screwed

      So by Virtualizing you're spreading out the resources to different OS's ?
      i understand the program needing specifics or running better you'd want to have a way to get there,
      what does virus protection have to do with single os?

      Why dont you watch some series about this first then come bk and ask us the hard questions

      I doubt in the future that is a worry, like everything will auto scale and auto heal

      Everything still requires input. Have you used machine learning at Big Data levels. It still requires alot of human interaction to make AI useful.

      but once we feed it, and it grows thats it. thats the point we are going this path

      Even if that is true, none of us will live long enough to lose a job to the rise of the machines.

      you have point, not an ethical one for sure

      Especially when the machines kill us all.

      It is more we will be obsolete by them. I think we just make consortuim to limit advancements like the same way you limit global warming and manufacturing
