Okay, here's the update:

I downloaded the current driver directly from Intel, tried to install it, and got the error that it wasn't certified for my machine, so I needed to get the driver directly from Lenovo. I went to Lenovo (huge pain in the ass because it detects me as Nicaragua and will only give me that site in Spanish) and eventually managed to find the Windows 10 driver for this machine. It is from July, and I'm pretty sure it's the one that was giving me problems before, but I decided to download and install it anyway and cross my fingers that I wouldn't have the same problems this time. After installing, I opened one of the problem games and it goes to full screen. So for now, this is resolved, but if I start having the screen flicker issues again, I'm going to have to just live with not playing those games until Lenovo updates the driver.

@Dashrender I reverted to a really old driver. It's from 2006. So yeah.

I think that the one I had trouble with was from July of 2015. I am going to try a driver directly from Intel dated 26/10/2015. We'll see what happens.

Setting up our own VPN is not ideal, because equipment will then have to be kept somewhere out there, and we don't have a home base.

We travel full time, and we have a lot of devices. iPads, laptops, soon to be Kindle Fires, and we would like to be able to use the things that we already pay for, like Netflix and Amazon Prime, on these devices while traveling. Netflix works in most countries, but has a different selection depending on where you are. Amazon Prime only works in the USA. We are considering getting a Fire TV gaming console too, if we can figure this issue out. Does anyone have an idea for a solution? I use Hola on my laptop (paid version) but it is cumbersome on iPads and I not available for the FireTV. I also don't think it works that well and causes lag a lot of the time.

Although having digital copies of the health insurance card itself is handy, that's not the critical part for us. We want to have access to our health information and be able to add to it ourselves whenever one of us visits a doctor or has a vaccination. I don't want to have to keep track of a USB stick.
