How large of an SD card are you using?
This. The partitioning scheme changed in 7.x and requires a larger footprint.
It's listed here on page 12.
@travisdh1 Technically, it's only a requirement if you use the newer partitioning scheme. One would think the installer could be intelligent enough to notify the user when they've selected a destination without enough free space.
Have you looked into WordFence?
Funny how a necro-post (almost seems like a bot-post) by @cucezo has brought new life to this thread.
There's also HA-Lizard.
Just ran into this issue. In the process of researching a solution, found that an updated version of the software was recently released. Details can be found here.
I haven't used this particular feature, but DisplayFusion appears to offer this option.
Have you taken a look at StarWind V2V Converter?
@bnrstnr Agreed. Or a forum regular that created a new account because they didn't want to be associated with Meraki.
We ran Vipre for years, but it's effectiveness seemed to suffer when they were sold to GFI. FWIW, we switched to Webroot several years ago and have been satisfied with it.
This is a rental home, so don't want to run cable throughout the house to connect the switch to the router. Resolved the issue by putting in a couple of powerline ethernet adapters.
Glad I could help JB in keeping his blood pressure in check.

I've used Acronis True Image for this as well.
Me too. In the past, there was often a free version of this included with the new drive making the upgrade seamless.
What version of XS? I know they put some restrictions in 7.3.
Disable the controllers one by one until something breaks. :smiling_face_with_horns:

I typed in the command on the github page. It says it completed successfully, but no xo.
You need to dig deeper to figure out why it isn't working correctly in your environment.
For instance, from an SSH session, you could issue the command sudo systemctrl status xo-server to check and see if the service successfully started and is actvie.
To view the logs, you can enter the command sudo journalctl -u xo-server -f -n 50
