Ninja RMM offers the choice of Bitdefender, Webroot, or VIPRE (now legacy for them) as solutions you can purchase from them as a part of their monitoring package.
What I have found is that when you switch from Webroot to Bitdefender (in their RMM console) it's not a clean, easy process.
I have been working for 4 months now trying to clean up over 300 machines that didn't make the switch gracefully.
Many still have Webroot on them (even though the policy is set to Bitdefender). Webroot isn't accepting the command from Ninja to uninstall.
Many will install Bitdefender but Ninja thinks it's not installed so it keeps trying to install Bitdefender on the machines.
Each time I contact support they are asking ME to run scripts on the impacted machines to fix things. We are wasting so many tech hours troubleshooting Ninja that it's no longer become a tool that saves us time, it's become a time blob.
It seems as if their software is not production ready. Beta, or maybe even Alpha status.
@scottalanmiller and I have been working to move off of Ninja, but that's another conversation.
Nothing for anyone here to really 'solve', but looking to see if others are having the same issues.
Does anyone here use Ninja? If so, what's been your experience?
