      The router is working pretty good. More a factor of the hardware than anything else, The DD-WRT is awesome. We are still going to swap out for the Buffalo product since it has the dual radios.

      So the downgrade went well. The move to the DD-WRT went well.

      WOW - What a difference! It even forces you to change from the weak default passwords immediately. (I had factiry reset the device before doing the firmware)

      Now to configure and test ...

      Yet another language getting all mixed into itself. Time to put down the coffee. We should come up with our own language and call it Cool-Aid. Then the marketing would just be focused on getting people to drink the Cool-Aid.

      Looks like Netgear does not like people using DD-WRT on their stuff. You have to downgrade to get it to load - the newer firmware is apparently checking for DD-WRT and blocking it now.
