@RojoLoco I change planes in Denver and Chicago O Hare. I have a 40 min layover in Denver... that's where I'm most worried about delayed flight wrecking my plans. Baltimore isn't a bad airport to get through... I've flown in there once.

RE: Weekend Plans
I'm the weirdo that like carpeting (specifically in the bedroom) I know it collects all kinds of dust and skin and whatever... but I really like walking around barefoot and hard flooring just doesn't feel as nice.

I was using Eset before... It worked great for a year then went downhill.

RE: Cylance Questions
@Breffni-Potter I've literally not had to remove a piece of malware/virus since I have installed Cylance. It has caught everything before it executed.

RE: Non-IT News Thread
SpaceX just confirmed they lost the falcon 9 rocket and the $200 million payload that was supposed to launch in 2 days.

RE: Non-IT News Thread
After all the talk about the explosion, it had this line
"SpaceX is seeking to create a new era of reusable rockets and affordable private space travel and has used its Falcon-9 rocket to take supplies to the International Space Station (ISS)."
It read very out of place.

Oh - I wonder why the article decided to drop that bit of information then? Filler? to make the article longer?
Who knows. Its a news organization... they don't check facts anymore.

RE: Non-IT News Thread

RE: Cylance Questions
I have had one issue that I haven't contacted Tech Support about yet... Virtual Box will not run with Cylance installed.

RE: Cylance Questions
@scottalanmiller It works wonderfully, everything I've thrown at it (in a test machine) it catches. It is more expensive than traditional AV, if memory serves me correctly I did a 3yr license and it was almost double what I paid for a 3 year license for eset.

A single drive would be safer compared to RAID0, because with RAID0 if a drive does go, you lose all of the data stored on that drive.
Guessing that this is a 2-drive unit you have what 8TB max in this unit (2x4TB raid0)?
Just purchase a single 8TB drive.
A single drive is not safer because if the drive goes you still lose all of the data on that drive.
It is because in raid 0 any one of the drives die you lose all the data... 2 drive raid, twice as likely for a failure.
