@scottalanmiller thats the first link i checked but for some reason is not opening for me. Just logged in with personal and works fine. Video and audio calls for now, don't think screen sharing is available. But this is big news, and I hope this works on the smart tv browsers too soon, as I am in the process of getting tiny PCs on conference rooms to connect to our smart TVs for Skype conf setup connecting all offices.

Personally I like crash plan too. This for my clients who wants to use s3, for windows I've used cloudberry and I love the software for the interface and options to connect to different things like S3, glacier etc. and glad that they released one for Mac as well.

To clarify - we provide services for other NP's under the same funding envelope (fed/prov $$)

Makes sense, just can't do that in the US so we are not used to it. Much more lax non-profit laws up there it sounds like. Business services can't be not for profit here.

I don't know much about MS Dynamics CRM but I know from having used Dynamics GP (keep in mind while they share part of the name they are not the same products nor related at all aside from name) a lot there isn't much information as far as training on it either written or video. You really have to learn from yourself, other people and conferences.

However aside from the setting not being applied there's no actual harm to GP conflicts.

Speaking broadly, with a badly setup GP you can get delayed logins and other strange issues.

Not from conflicting settings you won't get delayed logins. Conflicting settings will just allow one to override the other.

Delayed logins come from permissions issues, trying to do to much, bad settings or corrupt Sysvol and too much WMI filtering.

What kind of authentication is the daloradius / freeradius back-end using?

Can you test the authentication to the freeradius server from another server at Location B?

Not sure how to answer that, daloradius is just a web based front end of freeradius to manage users. What I think is for some reason the ovpn server is not communicating with dalo server.

@scottalanmiller its ubuntu which is my issue too. I am so comfortable with centos, and ufw firewall is something new to me. Not even sure if this thing is enabled or disabled! 🙂

      Found it.
      First run the iptables entry
      iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 10.8.0.0/24 -j SNAT --to xxx.xx.xx.xx

Then run sudo apt-get install iptables-persistent, and follow the prompts. When it asks to save the current rules, hit "Yes" at both prompts. Now, on reboots, your iptables rules will be restored.
      All done, working fine! 🙂

@creayt That issue of losing data is covered mostly by all tools by default I guess. Manictime which I am evaluating now, has a backup restore option, and also a scheduled backup function. I can schedule the backup to go to my dropbox/One Drive or even an external hard drive if uploading to a third party an issue.

End of the day, its every users choice, which I understand, but was not in the side of moving all my browsing history & work details to a third party server. I am kind of a person who would love to look at a self hosted option first for anything.

I see. The slang term for that is a "privacy fiend" 🙂

For what it's worth, RescueTime lets you configure it on a schedule so it ignores everything say, outside of work hours.

I agree with Nick and Scott - while this is not good, it's definitely not as bad as it sounds... the bad thing - non technical people won't understand why and they'll just crucify LastPass instead.

I'll include myself as non technical person here. It does further put me off hosted solutions. That's not the only reason I use on-premise (Keepass) as I didn't really like LastPass when I tried it anyway. I do store my Keepass databases in the cloud though, but that's a different risk.

The sad fact of the matter is that unless you completely unplug yourself, you just can't avoid hosted solutions. I say sad, and others will say, what makes it sad? Life has so many advantages today because of the hosted/integrated solutions - this is a conundrum I haven't reconciled yet.
