      So previously it was Lenovo with their slew of MiM systems, bloatware that was clearly just adware among other issues (Superfish).

      Now Samsung has been caught doing something just as bad, disabling Windows Update to force you to use their Updater to install updates directly from them. Disabling the software doesn't address the issue, you have to completely remove it in order to get updates directly from Microsoft.

            A few days later they relented.

            Whether they did so before or after Microsoft legal phoned them is another question.

                Might have something to do with most Samsung computers still being incompatible with Windows 10.
