Looking for reputable refurbished server vendors. Love @Xbyte for Dell refurbished (bought 2 from them so far no issues!), now looking for others for namely HP (HPE now) and possibly "white box" or SuperMicro. Seem's ServerMonkey is OK, anyone else we should look at?.

If you've had good luck with XByte & Dell... why are you poking around the others?? (Just curious)

Just bought Stuff from Dell Outlet.. they were cheaper then xbyte.

For Supermicro I don't think there's anyone much. It's mostly going to be ebay

@dafyre If it was 100% up to me, Xbyte and done, but higher ups want more options/choice/excuses to put off spending$$ (more "paperwork", more for them to mull through you probably know the drill)

We alo get requests for specific vendors from our customers, which I have no control over. They want an HPE server, we have to quote an HPE server

Also looking to get some more experience on other hardware out there. For Example, Dell I've used iDRAC, would like to get familiar with HPE iLO as well.

I have never found anyone that is reputable on the HP server side except for HP themselves.

Even ServerMonkey? I ask because I haven't actually used them myself yet.

Generally Xbyte, Stallard Tech, and Server Monkey are the only 3rd party vendors I'd look at, they all offer factory warranties with the servers they sell.

Honestly working with Xbyte is so awesome that we have gone to purchasing Dell refurbs. We were a HP shop for years. But Xbyte is awesome to work with. So that is who we use and 99% of all of our clients are Dell shops anyway.

Right on the ball. One email or phone call always get's a quick response. They also have the live online chat as well which works great.

I've heard there not so good. Never used them myself.

I had a client reach out to me last week needed a replacement drive. Took me less than 2 minutes to get them a new one sent out. I have only had to call on them twice ever.

@Minion-Queen We have yet to have to use Xbyte service, but that is good to know!

We used Server Monkey to get a Dell R510 a couple of years ago and have had good experiences with them during the time we've been under their parts warranty. The support has been good I thought. But I have not used them for any HP gear.
