Interesting how last week I had installed Zabbix 3.0 and when I went to look for some documantation today on the site, I noticed that 3.2 was soon to be released.

"Soon to be" might be over stating it. They have things in place for the next release, whenever that will be. I think that you will find that the 3.0 stuff had been there for a long time before being available, too. I'm pretty sure it is just placeholders. Those were there already within an hour of 3.0's release.

That's not a very good business practice, especially if the next release is 6 months to a year down the road.

It's on the road map but not announced and they've given no information that it is coming soon. It's pretty standard to have the places for docs and stuff up long before the product releases. Think about Microsoft and Server 2016 stuff up years in advance so that the beta people can use it and test the docs too. Otherwise your docs don't get tested.

Plus it tells you right there that 3.2 has not been released yet... Although I tend to agree... Put the placeholders in, but don't make them available to everybody until a release is closer to being ready.

@dafyre That's exactly what I'm saying! I'm sure they're able to figure it out 😉
