        I've read up on that. Pretty much it's a huge issue if you are in a situation where somebody can perform MITM attacks. I'd be concerned about laptops connecting to unknown hotspots lke at a hotel or whatever.

          this would only be an issue for Linux based laptops. Windows doesn't use glibc.

            This should also be a concern for internal systems. Having the ability to MitM a server if you can take a client even through other means is a pretty large problem.
