Celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary by traveling 10 hours round trip to purchase an allergy free cat (Siberian) for our 7 year old on Saturday. Wife is highly allergic to cats but she will be able to live with this one and make a 7 year old girl so very happy.

Well, we are getting a 2 year old adult...all we could afford...the kittens are very expensive...we did our research and they said he is a great cat...yes, pictures will come...our little girl is going to be so surprised...

Postponed until the 29th...cat breeder is going to an auction this weekend...better anyway...extra paycheck that weekend...

Considering MAYBE renting a car and driving around the country this weekend. Maybe. Or maybe just relaxing at home. Have not decided yet.

Packing stuff up to spend Friday and Saturday night in a camper at the place my dad has a timeshare in central missouri.
Becoming an annual family fall weekend camping trip. -
Apple picking weekend. Every Indigenous Peoples' Day weekend my family (I have a huge family) gets together to pick apples and press them for apple cider. We've been doing it since I was in high school. Really fun tradition.

I've been trying to make hard cider for the past two years... the first year it vinegar-ed on me and last year it tasted like paint thinner. Depending on how many apples we get this year I'm going to try again.
