SteamOS 2.25 Brewmaster Announced

Valve announces SteamOS 2.25 Brewmaster based on Debian 8. Lots of new features coming in this latest update. Nice to see the SteamOS development continuing. Valve seems to be doing a lot of good stuff.

True. It looks like it is a linux distro for steam... Or is it the OS for the game console they made...?

It's purpose is in fact to be a console

Both. SteamOS is a Linux based Steam console OS.

It is basically Steam's Big Screen mode and on Linux. So set up to be a console out of the box instead of converting an existing machine into that.
