Do other bluetooth devices do the same with this phone?

Something to keep in mind is some cheaper devices have bluetooth/wifi/cellular all on one chip so it really could be the chip not keeping up with both streams.

@thecreativeone91 I used to have a motorola behind the head set that kicked ass for battery life. It did so because it hid a monster battery in the loop right at the back of your neck. Was really comfy and lasted for ages. Will try and find it, one sec

Edit: the late 2000's version of the below. Do not guarantee it'll work the same or be as indestructible.

Have you installed Spokes software for my Bluetooth Plantronics headset it has made a world of difference. Also have you updated the firmware on the headset?

I'll have to look at that.

Now I have to go back and look at my OP, did I mention that this was for my Cell phone? The desk headset has been working perfectly.

What type of headset is this? It may need a firmware update:
                        http://www.plantronics.com/us/support/myheadset/updater/

Once you do that, you'll want to rebuild the bluetooth stack. Remove the device from your phone, power off, power back on, re-pair the bluetooth. That will rebuild the bluetooth stack and is best practice after updating firmware. (I spend A LOT of time on PLT's forums).

Also, I don't recommend the M series. They are the stupid cousin of the Voyager series.

Sadly my BT isn't any of those. It's the M55 - Just a simple unit.
