Use the magnifier in the accessibility programs? 🙂 or get stronger glasses 🙂

@Dominica is a classic Sierra game fan, like me. She is playing through the Leisure Suit Larry Archive from the 80s right now. LSL2 is EGA only.

DOSBox is how I keep Colonization, MoO, and MoO2 alive. At some point I'll have to break down and get them from GoG, but today is not that day.

I've had this same problem on the ultra high resolution laptops.

If you find something that works I'd love to hear about it.

MoO2 is epic. Can't ever forget that game! Plasma cannon spam (IIRC??) was how I equipped my ships and they just mowed down the epic enemy fleets the AI would spawn out of freaking no where. To the point where it's game breaking just to try and do the battle lol.

@hobbit666 If you enjoyed Syndicate you have to - it's re-playable even today.

Plasma cannons are OP. The best thing to do is trade your enemies the next weapon above it so they refit all their ships.

Sadly looking about both DOSbox and GOG,.. not much I recognize... I was never a real gamer. Yea I played Diablo and StarCraft... but didn't get 'deep' into either.

@g.jacobse If you have never played anything like the classic Sierra and LucasArts games, I HIGHLY recommend that you download this one (free) and check out the remake of the classic that started it all. King's Quest 1 was 1984 and started the adventure gaming revolution. Well worth checking out this excellent remake with new graphics, updated story fixes and voice acting. Look at screenshots of the original to understand just how updated it is. But it remains a faithful remake, if you played the original this would take you right back.

I'll look at that one. The other game I played for a while was TradeWars,.. dates back to when I ran a BBS,.. It's actually been ported over and is being run online. some updated graphics as well.
