Joaquin Phoenix breathes new life into an iconic role in first Joker trailer

It's a standalone film as DC Films moves away from the shared universe model.

Joker is intended as a standalone film, with no sequels planned—part of DC Films' decision to move away from the shared-universe approach of their prior franchise films (aka, the Marvel model). So it has no relation to the Justice League films that came before. That freed Director Todd Phillips to create his own darker, gritty version of this iconic character, with a much smaller budget of $55 million.

People are comparing this to Taxi Driver

Mark Hamill's animated version is quite solid.

90 pages of emails provoke response from head of HR.

Women at Microsoft have been sharing reports of sexual harassment by both fellow coworkers and external partners that were often ignored by managers and human resources alike, according to a report by Quartz.

Laptops and liquids can stay in your carry-on bags thanks to TSA's new scanners

One minor travel hassle is soon to be eliminated, thanks to the implementation of new screening technology at US airports. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recently announced that the introduction of CT, or computed tomography, will ultimately enable passengers to keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags while going through the security screening process.

Thumb drive carried by Mar-a-Lago intruder immediately installed files on a PC

The already suspicious breach of Secret Service security just got even more fishy.

The already suspicious account of a Chinese national who allegedly carried four cellphones, a thumb drive containing malware, and other electronics as she breached security at President Trump's private Florida club just grew even more fishy.

The article didn't mention anything about the president being there, does that mean the Secret Service is now just full time security at Mar-a-Lago? wtf...
