Elastix on CentOS 7 - Beta Release
-
Elastix 4 beta has been released - http://www.elastix.com/en/first-beta-elastix-4/.
 -
That's crazy, Elastix 3 isn't even stable yet!!
 -
3 is a different product. Without FreePBX.
 -
 -
@scottalanmiller yes, that is actually why they moved to 4.
3 went over like a lead balloon. So they "split" into two products. Elastix 4 is the continuation of Elastix 2.X
Where Elastix MT 2.0 will be the continuation of Elastix 3.
The MT stands for multi-tenant.
 -
Oh okay, maybe not a bad idea, then.
 -
so if i wanted to get the install rolling on a C@C server....what's my yum command? Lol
 -
I might install the beta for home use.

You have to Add the repo or wget the iso. and I think it install what ever version you configure it for.

Whatever one you've installed a repo for. Then the latest of that repo. Linux always installs the latest by default. Only takes effort if you want something old.

Here is the wiki article on how to do it.

This is CentOS 5... although you should be able to use it to help with the new version.
