Buenos Aires and the South Island are both places we are considering going for a while.

@scottalanmiller I live in Cookham (www.cookham.com). 2 min walk from a railway station, 1 min walk from Costas, 3 min walk to a great shop (food/booze) and a small parade of other shops, plus a decent dentist and doctor. 10 minute walk to teh Thames, several good pubs, and restaurants and 100mbs broadband.

@lillucia I live in the English countryside in a cottage built in 1823. A new house in this village.

Cookham is around 35 miles west of London, a small village on the Thames.

@scottalanmiller I would definitely recommend NZ.
I'm never sure why Kiwis move to Aus... they have the most beautiful country in the world, I think.

Very nice. I love small village UK life.

I think out of the places that I've traveled to, I would have to pick San Fran, otherwise Australia

San Fran is great, I like Silicon Valley nearby even better.

@Joyfano I have been lucky. When I was 17 I went overseas with my family, we went to San Fran, LA, Orlando, and to England.
Then recently I have been to North & South Island NZ.

Now if I could just get on a plane to BA...

We took our daughters to twelve countries in 2012. Should be in Italy for a while this year.
