      Dear Elastix Team,
      i am planning to install Elastix Server with PRI Service Activated i will use a device that will convert from voice to Voip but i want to know what is the trunk type that must be used in elastix from using sangoma E1 Card in the elastix server ?

        The Sangoma hardware generally is setup as a SIP trunk.

          If you have never worked with Sangoma hardware or any kind of VOIP gateway / specialized card, my opinion is it is far from trivial. I might be inclined to contact @FiyaFly as he has experience with Sangoma hardware.

                VoIP is not a trunk type. SIP and IAX2 are VoIP trunk types, but VoIP itself is not a thing. It's a generic reference to any voice over TCP/IP technology.
