              It's just sad that it pays off.

              There's almost no chance that this case will go to court. instead the real goal is probably just a $10K settlement from McDs. It will cost McD's less in the long run, and lawyer gets an easy $5K+, etc. Frustrating.

              I would love to see a point where McD wins the case and the other side is held liable for the lawyer fees of the winner (McD's in this case), but that has flaws to - if that were the situation then little guys would never sue big guys because the if you lose, you really lose (i.e. at best the business of the small lawyer and sueing parting are gone - at worse so are their personal belongings). It's a difficult spot any way you look at it.

                  I think I'll sue Runza - I ordered two salads and two drinks - and got only one napkin... hmmm...
