Since I am in the one project, I got this as part of their 'awareness' email..
Redkey USB is designed to wipe all data, from any* computer, securely & permanently.
After the wipe process is complete, you are protected.
Nobody will ever be able to recover any data, information or anything else from your computer after it has been wiped with a Redkey.
It's a powerful tool, for use when you need to be 100% sure, hence - "Data gone forever."
The best thing about Redkey, is that it's specifically designed to be easy to use - it works automatically! Just plug it in to a spare USB port before powering on your computer, and initiate the wipe.
The end result is a clean computer, cleared of all data - that means your computer will be clear of all personal information, and is ready for safe sale or disposal.
While it may be a good tool,.. I'll stay with my DoD level wipe (3 passes) for now.

How could it, it would need some sort of insight to determine that.
Just stick with classic dd in a DoD wipe.fashion.

@dbeato It probably only deletes the user profile specific directories.

This product makes no sense to me. Why would I want to erase just the user profile on my computer?
That question there, has implications for both good (protection from an overbearing government) and bad trying to hide illegal activities (protecting predators)

@gjacobse even Remington leaves the data on the disk. Just that reassembling it is the challenge.
