Supposedly this has been set up to work, but the guide for it is gone. Would be great to figure it out and have it documented here at least.

      https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2018/01/15/meshcentral2-now-with-lets-encrypt-support

Intel announced it nearly a year ago. But that's all that I can find. The system does not do LE by default, it does a self signed cert.

@syko24 yeah, that I do all of the time. Trying to do it the MeshCentral way, which doesn't use Nginx. In theory, the app is supposed to handle it in some way.

Except that is MeshCentral's dev making this video.

            So is this preferred?

              What is in your config.json?

In this video he shows his (with no SSL because NginX).
It has a section with the private key listed. I woudl expect yours shows the path to the self signed keys.
Likely you just change this file. Nothing I read or saw in the original video stated that MC2 actually performe dthe task of gettingthe LE cert.

The guides were offline yesterday but back this afternoon. I downloaded the PDFs if they've gone offline again and someone needs them.

That's the old version of MeshCentral which was hosted by them.

Here is the link for the info on the new self hosted version: https://www.meshcommander.com/meshcentral2
