Careful. Those look like "Basic Econmy" fares. Not checked bag. no selecting a seat, potentially no carry on, and only a personal item.

even so - that means real price will be 280... way better than the normal $400 I see for most places I want to go.

For me, this comes down to how much does non-Basic Econmy cost me for O`Hare versus traveling to Midway (~$60 each way on Uber).

AirBnB looks to have lots of reasonable places around. Going to wait for the location first tho.

Carrollton/Addison area. Most likely Addison near "the circle". It's all pretty close.

I have friends near Dallas. I could save some $ on hotel if they are close enough. I assume venue and address will be announced later this week as well?

Probably next week. But it's basically guaranteed to be in either Carrollton or Addison, which border each other. Do you what area your friends are in?
