Now to figure out the URL, because I do not have anything setup on our domain (we use O365)

Once you click Fetch URL, it auto populate the OAB and then you can click the Check supported types in the Authentication.

Wow.. going to have to take some time to look at settings and stuff..

Do not like the expanded by default thread view.. I like thread view, just not expanded.. That is silly.

And the Defualt dark theme form Cinnamon makes this a little hard to read. IMO.

Bad color scheme is because of Cinnamon.

                  Looks better, but...

I like having tabs. If Evolution can do tabs, i'd use that instead.

Does that addon for Evolution also do contacts, calendars, and tasks?

Can you show a screenshot of calendar and task view? If they are decent, maybe I'll give Evolution a go.

I just got used to tabs in web browsers and in Thunderbird... so not sure if I'll liek anything else.

Sorry had an interview this afternoon so I've been away. I meant the GNOME online accounts not the evolution ones.

I am pretty sure on Exchange 2010, if you don't use IE11, you will be restricted to the lite version of OWA. You should verify that first.

No, in Linux OWA doesn’t work in normal mode with Chrome but in Firefox it works well. OWA on Chrome, Firefox and Safari in Windows and Mac OSX with Exchange 2010 works well.

I'd say all your clients move to Chrome OS, you can still have linux in the infrastructure handling stuff.

As far as OWA from Exchange 2010 goes. Well it is almost 10 years old. Why would you even expect it to look decent in a modern browser? IE 11 is the only semi recent browser it ever worked decent in.

You are misinterpreting the whole post, basically OWA for Exchange 2010 (Exchange 2010 only) does not work well in Chrome in Linux (Only loads the light version) . Firefox loads the full OWA version (Just like in Chrome, Firefox, IE and Edge in Windows). Does that make sense.

I never mentioned Office 365 on that post, so I really don't know where you are getting that from. In fact I said the following previously:

Is there any legitimate contenders for Outlook on Linux? We currently have Exchange 2010 so the webmail isn't exactly full featured like it is on newer versions.

Push notifications are requirement for me.

Too expensive to upgrade to Exchange 2016 or migrate to O365?

A really big org where I dont have control over this kind of stuff. O365 is on the roadmap, but probably another year or so away.

If you are moving to Office 365 in a year then Linux will work with the OWA interface and that should be sufficient.

@dbeato You generalized "Linux" which is wrong. In a reply, yes, but without specific context in your post.

I specifically responded to the Exchange 2010 bit.

Please read everything before getting pissy.

Okay, if I generalized "Linux" that might not be great but the point I was making is that Exchange 2010 can work in Firefox in a Linux OS properly. I don't expect Exchange 2010 to look decent but I was just trying to prove the point.

If I am getting pissy for you that's very strange because I am not.

                                            Wanna know something really cool?

Many of you know I have taken on the initiative to get 100% away from Windows at work on my company system. I have come across many challenges and have been able to overcome everything.

Yesterday my team lead approached me and said he really liked what I did with Fedora. He believes that the rest of IT security team should no longer use Windows. It is a goal we are going to work towards. He recommended that I met with our Linux team and we are going to look at using Red Hat satellite to PXE boot Fedora images to replace Windows in various areas!
