            The vm's I have do not use the the /var/lib... default location.
            Do you still want the xml?

                Not played with this for a long time. Might be time to get it installed again.

                        @fateknollogee

                          <target dev='vda' bus='virtio'/>

                        <controller type='scsi' index='0' model='virtio-scsi'>
                          <target dev='macvtap1'/>
                          <model type='virtio'/>
                          <alias name='net0'/>

                        Nice, they are using the correct drivers from the start. All VirtIO paravirtual drivers, no emulated crap like e1000.

                        That means for windows OS you need to configure the VirtIO drivers prior, but this is much better for performance

                          Yup but not latest version so there are missing features,

                          yum -y update
                          yum install cockpit
                          yum install cockpit-machines # Optional for KVM Managing
                          https://server-ip:9090

                          You can install the beta version of it here:
                          http://pldelisle.no-ip.info:8090/display/HomeNetwork/Install+Cockpit+beta+in+CentOS+7

                          But even after using this link the max we can get is
                          157-1.el7.centos

                          Unless someone can search this repo for something better:

                          http://cbs.centos.org/repos/

                            It's the same on Fedora.
                            If you want the "full-blown, everything" cockpit, you have to update & install cockpit.

                            You can also install the optional features:

                              I can't add a VM?

                                Why would you need a beta version when the current version 161 is good & ready to go (aka production ready)?

                                        Check your version of Cockpit. To create VMs, it has to be 161.

                                          Centos users have to wait 😞 even beta is only up till version 157

                                          UNless you can install from source ?
