Spam filtering software
-
Hey guys I have a client who is using thunder bird that is getting a lot of spam. I'm looking for a program to help filter his email on a windows PC. He is looking at spamfighter but I have no experience with this program. I don't know if it's a good choice or not. Thank you

$5 a month for a commercial email system (o365 / google apps for business) that has great spam filtering. Is there a reason you're on Liquid Web?

There is no reason this the first time he has brought it up. We didn't set it up either. o365 sounds like a good idea. I was personally thinking of gsuite.

@tech1 Sometimes it helps to take a step back and evaluate what you're really trying to do instead of look for a product for what is already in place. Liquid mail claims to filter, but clearly it's not working. o365 and gmail do a great job, so why not consider them? It would probably be better to filter it before it hits the client.

And for a single user.... the cost of looking at another option is too much. Office 365 is $4/mo... that's $48/year. That's hosting, storage, support, everything. And that's a top end, luxury level service. It only gets cheaper from there.
